GreatLifeMates.com was created to help people around the world find a person who would be their life mate. We use the term "life mate" because some people will want to be married, others will not. In every case it is a matter of people who want someone to be with for the rest of their lives.
 As the creator of LoveIsGreat.com (which has been around since 1998), I am constantly contacted by dating, foreign bride, and matchmaking web sites that want to be linked to LoveIsGreat.com. Because of that, I have looked at and reviewed literally hundreds of these sites. Pretty much, they are all geared just to make money. They allow anyone to join, including spammers, and even having the same people on multiple times. They do that to increase their numbers.
Another problem that I have with most of these dating & matchmaking web sites is that they aren't for a focused purpose. You could be looking for friends, sex partners, a relationship, marriage, or a "long-term" relationship.
And the last problem is that they cost too much. GreatLifeMates.com membership fees are not that much no matter where in the world you are ... It is the approximately the same relative cost worldwide, and not that great of an expense.
So GreatLifeMates.com is created with a specific goal to assist people in finding and being with a great mate for life. That is why we have requirements that qualify members, insist on webcam to provide face-to-face for those who aren't close enough to meet in person all the time, and charge a resonable fee for a year! (not monthly).

THE DIFFERENCE?
- Everyone on this site is looking for a Great Life Mate! Other sites have people who are looking for different things: long-term relationship, dating, friends, sex, etc..
- Everyone on this site is interviewed BEFORE becoming a member and having a profile on GreatLifeMates.com. Most "dating" web sites are more interested in how many people they can say they have, then quality. That is why they allow people to sign-up for a "free" profile and you find scammers and multiple profiles for the same person.
- Everyone pays a reasonable membership fee for a reasonable amount of time. The fee varies by country and is always affordable for most.
